X going down is a good thing. Its not just about addiction. Its about giving everyone a ham radio and allowing everyone to broadcast on the same frequency. Such a system was doomed to fail just like we saw in the early days of radio broadcasting before processes about coordinating who gets to broadcast and when became formalized.
