I guess an example for your proposal is the gun laws for not allowing convicted domestic abusers firearms. But a comic is nowhere near equivalent to a firearm. I think the argument is fraught.
You would need to apply the same standards to physical violence/general crime to avoid (justified) accusations of double standards, and I don't see Australia banning "Breaking Bad" anytime soon.
