Apps like this I can never believe that anyone really has the time or energy to keep the app and reality in sync. I am not saying it's not possible or useful. I am doubtful I would care enough to really dedicate time to it. Wouldove to hear from someone who actually has been tracking their pantry for longer than a week.

Thanks for the comment, I built the app because I needed it myself. My wife and I often forgot what we had at home, bought duplicates, or let food expire. We still use it today mainly as a shared shopping list and to track key items it’s simple but works for us.

My problem is thoothpaste. One week I buy one in every visit to the supermarket and then I realize I have too many and stop buying. Untill there is no thoothpaste!

Is it possi ble to add a decay factor, like 1 per 2 weeks, so I can log 4 of them and get an alert on the 7th week (1 before it's predicted to be zero?)

Anyway, I tried with a shared Scheet and as the GP says, it's difficult to keep reality and the log in sync.
