Have been playing around with this feature and notice that there is a clear boundary when it comes to performance. It comes down to the size of the letters. If you scan a lot of letters it does recognize the words, but the letter recognition turns out to be poor. As soon as you zoom in a bit the performance will improve drastically.

All in all, neat feature :)
