Can you elaborate why? I understand the bus speed difference but the benchmark I remember always gave the 66Mhz winning over the 50Mhz.

Were those benchmarks with the DX-50 or the DX2-50?

DX2-66 vs DX-50. A DX2-50 obviously lose to a DX-50.

In the "486" class of desktop processors, there were also:

- Intel FC80486DX4WB-100 (50 x 2 @100)

- Am5x86-P75+ (50 x 3 @150)

- Am5x86-P100 (40 x 4 @160)
