I use zsh history and fzf as my second brain. I can recall complicated, long winded commands I executed years ago with a few key strokes.

This makes ‘remembering’ syntax and flags less stress inducing. You only have to figure it out once. Fzf will pull it up for you in a second. I also add #comments at the end of the commands to serve as search tags..
