Is Apple Messages not E2EE when used over Starlink?

It's text messages only, no data. So presumably not.

They previously said iMessage would work (no "text messages" actually use SMS any more now that iOS uses iMessage and Android uses RCS).

This is inaccurate. When mobile data is unavailable, you can use text but not iMessage or RCS.

T-Mobile has horrible data security, too.
