Ya know I used to have these types of issues more often but I was a.) on PopOS instead of arch (which i use now) and b.) it was awhile ago and the software seemed to have matured a bit.

As such, Im a little surprised to see someone blaming Nvidia specifically for issues rather than Windows, WSL, or any distribution of linux that makes it difficult to install software outside of the official channels (e.g. debian variants). Can you elaborate on the context?
