This is just a distraction so we all talk about that, or the birth rights that would also need a change in the constitution, or the Gulf of Mexico etc ...

The media and the public doesn't have the bandwidth to hash all that out so other outrageous but less outrageous stuff can be passed with everybody numb to the outcries.
