Every now and then I stumble over the problem that in LibreOffice, you cannot date-format the x-axis of a chart. So no x/y chart with lines at the 1st of every month for example.

It's a mistery to me how that is still not fixed.

A few months ago I was bothered enough by an unrelated LibreOffice bug to download the source and try to fix it. I didn't get very far. It's an impressive application but the code is byzantine.

Also, all of the variables are named in Hungarian Notation.

Heh it still hangs for 30 seconds every time I open a spreadsheet on windows when my printer is turned off. Has been doing that for at least 15 years.

I avoid office type packages now when I can.
