I worked on a subcommittee for ISO 20022 on the semantics of financial messaging. I worked out the theory for expressing the EMOF model of ISO 20022 as an OWL DL schema, the article talks a lot about how to deal with many of the practical problems that the RDF community ignores in a way that keeps the schema valid.
