Hacker News Reader

Why is this flagged? Every major media outlet is running this story, and it isn't like the BBC is some fringe news agency.

Being flagged doesn't mean that it's untrue, it means that people feel that it doesn't meet the HN guidelines.

It’s against the hacker news guidelines. This isn’t the forum for breaking news that you find on TV.

And yet the top thread right now is from BBC regarding Russian glid bombs.

Because it is technology. For downing whirlybirds with space lasers and weather modification HN just isn't ready, it just isn't.
