Sure, it may be a publicity stunt, but it's the type of publicity stunt I like. Will it ever launch? Who knows? Will they find a biological origin for Mode-3 particles? Who knows? It's cool that they're going to fly by Venus (which is sort of hard) and look for life. Seems cooler than sending a Tesla into space.
