Why? Even with the worst condition which will realistically happen to earth in the next 100+ years, it will be still a better environment than Mars. Anything we might do on Mars, can be better done on Earth. And when shit hits the fan on Mars, which will happen once or twice, you are grounded there, without any realistic help available. And in the best case, you are there with the guy who wasted Twitter for memes, probably as as your leader. How is that desirable?

First, figure out how to create a self sustaining colony in the Atacama Yungay before even thinking about doing it on another planet. At least you'll be able to phone for help when you discover your colony isn't working.
