Formula E exists. It just sucks. The cars are much slower, and there’s gimmicks.
The top speeds aren't that far apart.
FE still flies the crew and cars all over the world, it's hardly eco-friendly.

Formula E is downright slow compared for F1
If it was just for the sound, perhaps we'd just insist on the 4 rotor wankle engines of the 787b
