Audrey Tang (formerly Autrijus Tang), Taiwan's minister of digital affairs, was a prolific perl hacker back in the day with many contributions on CPAN.

Many contributions on CPAN, true, though maybe more notably she did also lead the development of the first Perl 6 (now Raku) compiler
