In Christchurch, New Zealand, we have a cafe that sends you your burger through a pneumatic tube system... Ton Scott did a video about it... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTHZLKFblKo

You'd think they would have figured out a way to send pizza back the other way, given California's deficit.

They tried, but pizza is the wrong shape. In early tests, calzones from new york had some success but the market demand wasn’t there for the new-zone, so it never took off.

And some New York-style Chinese food. Bay food might be authentic but sometimes you just need some properly deep-fried sweet-and-sour pork.

Hey man you might be shadow banned.

I vouched for this comment, you might want to email the mods and see what’s up.

They are v.reasonable on the whole.

Looks like PBS tried to get in on the story, but frankly, they didn't do a very good job of it:

No-one has thought to just open a burrito joint in NYC?

The food would be fresher, I hope.

This is incredible, thanks for sharing

This is not real, is it?

It's not real - but imagine if it were!
