Those Americans are wrong, and most deserve the 'deplorable' moniker they were given. Most of them shouldn't have a right to vote in the first place IMO.

Voting on that basis has, and will continue to have real damage for citizens of the country, and thus the country as an entity.
Our "current understanding" seems to be shifting a lot.
