This is what happens when Product Managers don't understand the technologies they are working with.
this isn't a Product Manager issue. I see an extremely simple solution to the practical affect of this: delay rendering until it has passed the censorship layer. And provide a simple 'neutral' explanation, "that's not an area I'm able to discuss", versus the very Clippy-like "Woah, it looks like you're trying to learn about red flag things..."
