The goal of Russian propaganda is to spread doubt and distrust. The aim is to get people to believe that objective truth doesn’t exist, and that ALL elites are corrupt.
However now that they need to motivate ppl to fight it has started to move back to Soviet style propaganda which promotes a consistent false narrative.
Basically ppl who don’t believe anything won’t rebel against you. They also won’t fight for you.
