Once again I think the industry has completely over tuned on "machine learning".
Every time this technologies come out, we leap at the idea that we will replace all the <insert most valuable job here>.
In reality, it serves to augment the job, and makes many more new types of jobs.
Look at machine vision. Many new types of jobs were created, and we are still chasing replacing drivers - and failing.
