Do you think Soviet Russia or Tsar Russia would be any better ?

Tsar russia, soviet russia, modern russia, it's all the same. The world without russia at all would be immensely better.

Personally I think the world would be a lot better without people such as yourself. This would cull maybe 20% of Russia (including almost all of their "elites"), and the rest of us would live happily ever after.

You're talking about 140 million people here

No, he's talking about country/government, not people. I was born in Moscow and spent most of my life there, and I completely agree that people who live there would be much better of without the current government and most likely without the country in it's current form too.

The country and government are people. Without people it's nothing. Remove the government overnight and the people aren't going to replace it with western leadership.

Government is the main oppressor and enemy of the society in most societies, and especially in Russia.

The government doesn't manifest out of the ether though, remove the current government and the next oppressor takes residence. Russia needs societal change, not just governmental.

People are fine. I work with some Russians that escaped from Putin to Poland.

The country is the problem. It's almost like radioactive material. If you have small number of Russians they are perfectly normal people (with some quirks but whatever). If you get enough of them they go supercritical and create antihuman authocracy :)

Europe, USA and the rest of the world can easily turn into what Russia had become, if certain actions are allowed to take place.

If Trump had his way (change constitution/replace/kill his opposition), we could have authoritarian state in USA in 5-10 years. EASY.

Whats happening in Russia should be a contestant reminder for the rest of the world of what happens when you dont have a system of check and balances. When you dont have functioning legal system. When you dont have freedom of speech / freedom to protest.
