Targum translation. From the comments and video it seems he claims levitation of a micron sized particle. Not sure if it is fake or not.

He repeatedly stated that the sample stands up(become straight) when the object is nearing it, and drop down when its far. The same applies for the negative polarity(same behaviour on N/S). Source: Native Mandarin speaker.

Did you understand what he said when he explained what kind of magnet he used? Different versions produced by targum claim either "aluminum shed magnet" https://targum.video/v/2023/8/1/e2ad3b8e86961ccfdcf411d2d4d1... or "cast iron shed magnet" https://targum.video/v/2023/8/1/2534a4408ccce9c13a811e94f16d...

钕铁硼磁铁，Neodymium magnet

Slight chance that might be wrong, their northern accent is too strong.

Thanks, that makes sense from context. It sounded to me like the first syllable was rú, which got me wondering whether 铷 rubidium magnets are a thing... I found a patent for a "rubidium iron boron permanent magnet" https://patents.google.com/patent/CN102832038A/en but I guess that 铷铁硼 is a typo for 钕铁硼.

They are baking the third batch, hopefully get some samples big enough for testing resistance this time.

Automatic subtitled translation is "furiously" laughable. :)

Yes, it is obviously not very accurate (sample is not in a rage :)) but I'm sure many are excited about the possibilities and don't know Chinese (Mandarin?).

I don't think he claims it's levitating does he? It's just standing up on its end I think.

Looks legit to me. Thing gonna change alot

Manifold pumping. We’re back.
