Is your username meant to sound extremely racist?

No, damn, you're now the third person to read it that way. It's a (lame? and possibly outdated) contraction of Black And Silver. I just thought it sounded cool once, and it stuck for 10 years and counting.

I'd like to think that my ability to communicate via the written word would imply a healthy functioning ability to think critically, which I further hope would imply that I'm able to think past base, lizard brain reactions that are so irrationally toxic in a global society context.

I read it as you intended and it took me a long time to see the problem.

I still don't see it.

But once you do see it, its all you'll ever see. Careful what you wish for.

So far I have managed but it is not worth looking for. Keep your mind free and pure.

One could read it as "black enslaver" (or something similar), but I agree with the user that it is quite a leap to do so.

Fair enough I guess but you might want to put an ampersand between those words, I know I certainly would.

People will see what they want to see. I think it is fine if he wants to keep his username and letting his interactions define who he is.
