From the point of view of the actual customer: the brand advertiser, Threads is a safe bet while at the same time they might be calling Linda Yaccarino to ask "Are you OK?"
What Threads has accomplished is hard to diminish. They pushed an MVP stage thing out the door at it didn't fail. And then it didn't fail when 100 million people signed up without any need for invitations or throttling. That's unprecedented.
They have some things to navigate, like relationships with news providers. But that's not difficult because Twitter is so good at keeping them happy. It's difficult for reasons Meta can fix.
