Every Nissan I've driven in the last ten years had had terrible UI as well - more buttons switches and hat controls than my simulator flight stick

But isn't that what the grand parent is asking for?

They were physical controls but there was SO many of them and they all felt very cheap that it was its own sense of crappy cheap and likely to break UI.
