Has any US skyscraper actually just like, fallen over of its own accord?
That said I don't know if there is even a tall, new building that was demolished as a danger to the public without having experienced a damaging external event. I sincerely hope not, since it reeks of incompetence.
That said there there have been some buildings that collapsed via snow (Knickerbocker Theater in 1922) or like the Millennium tower cause of groundwork issues (Transcona Grain Elevator in 1913).
