You just cannot organize a rating system into a company. The more trust you accumulate, the more money there is to be made in selling out.

Really? I still go to Amazon to read reviews. (Even if I don't purchase from Amazon.)

It's not as helpful as it used to be, but it's still helpful enough to be worth it.
