Huh? Does: waypipe ssh remotehost guicmd

not work for you?

I cannot find waypipe in any package for the OS on the closest machine using Wayland.

Which distribution? I just learned about waypipe and took a quick look

I found it for Ubuntu, Fedora, Alpine, Arch, and Gentoo - the first two make extending availability elsewhere pretty simple.

The specs covering the package managers for most derivatives are already written

It’s not in Debian stable, which means that any distribution based on that does not have it yet.

I tried to backport the package from Debian testing, but it failed its self-tests while compiling.
