Andy Pavlo is incredible. I studied EE and have learned about databases through his lectures.

The diversity of systems Andy covers is quite impressive. I've subscribed to his (CMU Databse Group) videos for quite a while, but to be honest, I haven't been watching many. This post was a good reminder to look around again, and wow, there's just so many databases covered, & many of them are very modern & new. It's impressive range.

Andy's lectures also contain so much rich information, many not out there on the internet, and some very entertaining. I love these bits about the history and random trivia.
