My first reaction is that I like this idea, but maybe I’m biased because I feel I’d “pass the test” myself (and thus have one additional small way to differentiate myself from pure Leetcoders :)

In most of the environments I’ve worked (except maybe the games companies) I feel this would not have been widely considered an acceptable thing to ask in a generalist interview.
