I think you misunderstood my point -- that isn't my rhetoric but the rhetoric of the banks and current authorities to demonize crypto.

Are they just "demonizing" ... or actually reacting to real, widespread scams in the crypto marketplace from players both large and small.

Your rhetoric is to suggest the former while ignoring the latter.
