It's been known by SEO types for years that Google is gameable. Just setup several Wordpress blogs, add a few SEO plugins, build lots of backlinks, and then...wait. It helps if your content isn't thin and actually helps people though. Google knows that and incorporates that as part of their algo. (Hence, content farms)
