My defense against things like this is to have a cheap 2nd Android phone with a prepaid card. Tik tok as well. You can enjoy these services and give nothing up.

If you are using Android, you can simply create a another profile to contain proprietary apps like this. Depending on which variant of Android you are using, you may be able to restrict access to sensors and other information.

Create your account with an alias email address and use a virtual payment card from someplace like privacy.com to be anonymous.

If I want those intrusive apps yes (travelling), otherwise no
