OT: Anyone know what the status on Mermaid Timeline is?

FYI, There is an alternative called Markwhen.

Creator of Mermaid and CTO of Mermaid Chart. We have released Timeline diagrams recently https://mermaid.js.org/syntax/timeline.html we also added https://mermaid.js.org/syntax/mindmap.html

Both are still experimental, (in beta), but the syntax is set. Personally I really like using Mind maps when taking meeting notes.

Thank you. I was using the mermaid live editor and did not find it compatible with timeline. Which is why I inquired the status.
