I quickly skimmed it. It seems like a very decent introduction to the topic for a non-technical audience (it even points out the relation between TMs and Godel's first), but I can't for the life of me figure out why every pop-culture presentation of this topic talks about it like we found out a CVE in math or something.

It's a property of how logical systems work; there are no problems with math, I promise.
