Never once happened to me having driven hundreds of thousands of kilometers through these countries, but YMMV.
We usually wear matching hoodies on any longer trips to combat driver identification anyway. If the cops actually make an effort, you just perform some acrobatics inside the car so they won't be able to tell which of the passengers was driving.
> know that getting caught once is a 1500€ fine and your car seized
Can't seize a car the driver doesn't own. Unless you mean impounding it and requiring you to pay some small release fee?
>Needless to say, we don't need drivers like you on our roads, and I dearly hope you do crash at that speed and permanently rid us of you.
Unnecessarily harsh. I reckon it'd be better for everybody if I didn't crash at that speed.
No. You are not a professional driver, or even a good driver, because a good driver would recognize that the proper place to do 250 is on a race track. You make the road dangerous both for you, but even more so for other drivers and will, one day, kill someone. So, please, kindly fuck off of french roads, whether it is through crossing the border and letting it be someone else's problem, or eating a tree like half of the dumbasses driving polish rental Audis.
Statistically this is not true.
And for what it's worth, there's a huge difference between driving fast while consistently hugging the left lane, and weaving through traffic. In doing the first, I'm not causing nearly as significant risk as you suggest.
Driving fast will not cause my car to suddenly spin out of control, the only way I'll end up hitting someone is if they decide to suddenly veer onto my lane without signaling.
