Look at the heading "An alphabet of its own". Does it seem to you that the first line of transliterated symbols reads something similar to "FUBAR", or did I just spend too much time in the Army?
should be FUTHARK which should be the first letters of their alphabet. (just like alphabet are first few letters, alpha beta ...)
