I'd pay like $10/mo I think. Possibly more if there were no censorship/limitations (it had access to internet browsing, and I could direct it to URL's for information and whatnot).
I pay that for Copilot right now, which I feel is easily worth $50/mo. (I don't use ChatGPT that much, it'd need to be ingrained in my IDE workflow)
CoPilot has provided me amazing value for the a tiny price. It's to the point that for anything even resembling boilerplate/obvious code I just expect it will get it right (the exact way I would have written it). The other day I was using CodeRunner (a little tool to run/test snippets of code in various languages, it's not perfect but it's a nice little playground that runs locally) and I was just staring at the screen wondering why it wasn't auto-completing the line before I realized "Oh, I don't have CoPilot here", I've come to depend/expect it's output, to "trust" it such that when it's not there I feel the loss. Same way I wish I had multiple cursors in every app/webapp like I do in my IDE.
You have to know how to use it, but if you do, then it easily is far less expensive than the alternative. However, at $400+/mo, it starts to be worth it to just use gpt directly and write your own chatbot.
Basically separate the free tier riffraff from blue checkmark people.
I might pay up to $20 if I had access to a proper API to integrate ChatGPT with my life better.
