Given that "ethics" is being actively deployed to neuter or destroy the open source movement, I don't blame them.

Right now, AI art, and it's open source repos that make it possible, are under a sustained attack with the "ethical" banner which seeks to have this technology removed or at least closed sourced so that only Disney can use it.

If that's ethical, than sign me up to be unethical.

I don't believe that only Disney should be able to use AI art. I think it should be destroyed entirely.

What have you created personally, that give you the right to want to destroy the creations of others?

Would you ask the same if I wanted society to get rid of nuclear weapons? In my opinion, AI technology has the potential to significantly make all of society worse by disrupting it in an irrevocable way. Therefore, I think banning and destroying it is not unlike banning toxic substances and destroying stockpiles of weapons.
