It depends what you are doing with it. Sometimes it isn't bad, but anytime I kick in the discrete graphics card everyone in the room looks at me.

It picks up when I drive my external monitor. Also, I did find out that a rouge process was taking about 40% CPU consistently, and it quieted down after that.
