Am i the only one that gives absolutely no credit to economists for actually providing any good analysis on current situation beyond obvious statements ?

I’ve basically lost any respect for this profession in 2008, when you could see pseudo experts predicting pretty much anything all the time, despite being disproved by reality weeks after weeks.
