I feel as though the article is leaving some critical details out in order to push a specific viewpoint/agenda.
Testimonials from "victims" are only the side of said victims, with no details from Paypal or anyone else as to why this has happened. It's left to the reader to imagine a large conspiracy, when there may very well be good reasons that many of these people were banned.
I'm reminded of the term "Dopelar effect": if you throw a lot of bad information and ideas at someone quickly enough, they start to sound more reasonable. But if you slow them down, they don't.
