I hope this fails. John Oliver had an excellent episode on facial recognition and its perverse effects on society and especially the creepy work that Clear AI is doing. It baffles me that people willingly sign up for Clear AI (probably because they aren’t aware of the broader implications).

If to judge by SF passing the first round of voting on Police use of deadly force with robots then I’d say we’re doomed.

I just wish I knew who are these people that vote yes on these things. They’re completely foreign to me.

Hilariously last week I observed TSA attempting to fast-track a lady who had (paid for) TSA Precheck. She insisted that she also had (paid for) Clear and would do the Clear line and then the Precheck line. Maybe she gets more of a personal security bubble by doing both. Safety!
