If I ever had doubts that all companies, including big tech ones, need unions to protect employees from management abuse, I no longer do.

Seems like post-purchase Twitter would be a great test lab for unionizing a big tech company. What else do (many of) the workers have to lose?

Yeah but if everyone works from home is hard to unionize. By the time they all go in it will only be true believers left
