Isn't it interesting how the social or traditional rules of a people, the software, if you will, are a big factor in whether the country will be successful or not?
That seems like the obvious null hypothesis. To me, the interesting thing is how many people are in denial of that basic fact.
so the "null hypothesis" specifically is the opposite of that.
