Is he actively trying to get rid of you to free your req for another Google ubermensch? I ask as it's usually harder to counter an explicit plan than general personality issues.
I believe he is trying to drive me out but I don't think he could tolerate any other ubermensch around (note: loved that :) ). He has an irresistible need to be the Alpha-A$$hole. To the point where he's patronizing everyone and you wouldn't be able to tell who's running the show there.
