Usually they would do that, cut to commercials, and then show the full thing in slow motion. Irritating, but not quite the same.

I hope you’re joking, although I don’t see the joke. That Mythbusters video changes camera angle every two or three seconds at most.

Also, that particular example doesn’t show the thing they were notorious for, which is showing the same thing from multiple camera angles just before the payoff and then cutting to a commercial break. That’s probably because this was their final episode and their audience engagement tricks didn’t matter so much any more.

I always assumed the show was aimed at people with crippling ADHD.
