There is so much skepticism in the community about this tech. Is it because there is genuinely no compelling use cases or is it because of the current implementation?
One example: Reducing inequality. With the purchase of a headset (~400$), everyone can have a 60" TV, and learn how to play the piano, and have access to 100s of board games (the last one hasn't been implemented yet, but possibly soon).
Crypto OTOH provides no real value, and has been out as long, if not longer.
A $50 keyboard from the thrift-shop + youtube will be bounds better for learning piano than VR.
+1 to board games though assuming it’s precise enough that you don’t constant bump all of the pieces.
