Related, but not entirely ontopic... I've been trying to find a good gluegun, and have been unable. When I was a kid, my family had a gluegun with a detachable base, where the base plugged into the outlet. When the gluegun was sitting on the base, it heated up. That gave it someplace stable to sit when you weren't glueing, and no cord when you were. I can't find anything like it nowadats.
